AUTOWAY and Kuruma no News will hold an imported-tyre experience test-drive event, allowing participants to drive vehicles fitted with imported tyres and assess their ride comfort and quietness. The event will be held on 8 November 2026 at the Turnpike venue in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, with applications open from 8 October to 1 November.
AUTOWAY, an online tyre retailer, and Kuruma no News will jointly hold an event offering a hands-on experience of imported tyres. The venue is Anest Iwata Hakone Turnpike in Kanagawa Prefecture, providing an opportunity to assess the tyres through actual driving.
Two types of vehicles and two types of tyres will be available for the test drives. The Toyota Corolla Touring will be fitted with MINERVA F209, while the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will be fitted with TRAVELSTAR ECOSPORT GT. Participants can drive each vehicle and experience its ride comfort and quietness.
Applicants will receive a round-trip toll ticket, a lounge drink ticket and a participation gift, while 2 people will be selected by lottery to receive 4 imported tyres. Applications are limited to 28 groups, with up to 4 people per group. The application period is from 8 October to 1 November 2026.
