TOPPAN Holdings’ consolidated net income for April-June 2026 was ¥21.6 billion, 2.3 times the year-earlier level, helped by its acquisition of subsidiaries from US-based Sonoco Products. Revenue in its Lifestyle and Industrial businesses also increased.
According to TOPPAN Holdings’ consolidated results for April-June 2026, net income rose 2.3 times year on year to ¥21.6 billion. Revenue was ¥457.3 billion and operating income was ¥20.0 billion, with both exceeding the year-earlier levels.
The main driver of performance during the period was growth in the Lifestyle and Industrial businesses. Business integration, including the 5 companies acquired from Sonoco Products, a major US packaging-materials manufacturer involved in food packaging, also contributed. The recovery in demand for packaging materials in the US and Asia provided further support. Profit margins in the Electronics business improved as demand for semiconductor materials expanded.
The development of a system to increase semiconductor-substrate production at the Niigata plant was also said to have contributed to the increase in profit, and the company maintained its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. Revenue is expected to rise 7% from the previous fiscal year to ¥1.925 trillion, while net income is projected to decline 15% to ¥55 billion.
