The Yamagata Bank will roll out neoAI Chat, an AI agent platform for businesses, across the bank from August 2026, using generative AI to retrieve information from internal bank regulations, business manuals and other materials.
As part of the DX strategy under its 21st Long-Term Management Plan, The Yamagata Bank has decided to use neoAI's AI agent platform for businesses, neoAI Chat, across the bank. The rollout will begin in August 2026, with plans to expand its use bank-wide.
The bank will primarily use neoAI Chat for information retrieval based on internal bank regulations, business manuals and other materials. This is intended to improve operational efficiency and the sharing and transfer of knowledge.
neoAI Chat provides conversational functionality, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), business-specific assistants, agents and workflows. It also supports the requirements for company-wide AI adoption, including analysis functions suited to documents and business operations at Japanese companies, data integration, cost management and conversation log management.
Through ongoing collaboration with The Yamagata Bank, neoAI has stated that it will provide financial institutions with intelligence infrastructure and intelligence implementation while ensuring security and governance.
