“Wander Ride DAY”, an event to enjoy with your dog, will return to Green Land in Arao, Kumamoto, on 14 and 15 November. Following the response to the previous event, the lineup of dog-friendly attractions, the dog run and the market has been reviewed, with operational improvements including advance ticket sales.
“Wander Ride DAY” will return to Green Land in Arao, Kumamoto, on 14 and 15 November. Visitors will again be able to enjoy attractions and walks around the park with their dogs. The event will run from 10:00 to 17:30 on both days.
There will be 10 dog-friendly attractions in total, including the Teacups, the Rainbow Ferris Wheel and the Road Train. Restaurants and shops that dogs can use with their owners will also be available, and the official page shows the locations of dog-friendly facilities.
A temporary dog run of approximately 1,000 square metres will be set up in the park and divided into 3 areas: small dogs, medium and large dogs, and all breeds. A market for dogs and photo spots will also be provided as places for visitors to interact.
Based on attendance at the first event, advance electronic tickets and different advance and same-day prices are being introduced to streamline admission. The stage programme is also being reviewed with a view to strengthening activities that dogs and their owners can enjoy together.
