The 5th pitch event of Mirai Pitch, a regional economic support project organised by the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan, will be held on 29 September, with 6 participating companies presenting their co-creation needs. The event will be held in a hybrid format at El Park Sendai in Sendai, with online participation also available.
The Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan, in cooperation with the Hokkaido Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry and other organisations, will hold the 5th Mirai Pitch event on 29 September. The 6 participating companies will also present their co-creation needs on a dedicated site within J-GoodTech, promoting business matching with small and medium-sized companies, startups and others across Japan.
The event is scheduled for 29 September 2026 (Tuesday), from 14:30 to 17:30. The venue will be the Gallery Hall at El Park Sendai, with online participation via Teams also planned. The event is open to a broad range of participants, including mid-sized and small companies, startups, local governments and regional financial institutions.
The programme is expected to include opening remarks, a keynote address, presentations of co-creation needs by the participating companies, introductions to support measures and a networking session. A list of the participating companies and presentation titles is expected to be published, and will also be made available on the dedicated site.
The organisers are the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation, Japan, several bureaus of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Okinawa General Bureau, among others. The event is positioned as a new stage in strengthening support for the co-creation needs of ¥10 billion declaration companies and Mirai companies. Applications will be accepted through the official form, with capacity indicated as approximately 50 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, while online participation is unlimited.
