Mirai Consulting Group and Sazaby League IRIS announced a business partnership and will fully launch a regional development model combining management and IT, based in Asahikawa, Hokkaido.
Mirai Consulting Group and Sazaby League IRIS have entered into a business partnership aimed at supporting the growth of small and midsize companies and revitalizing regional communities in Hokkaido and regional cities nationwide. Centered on the Asahikawa Center, they will develop a strategic base providing management consulting and IT implementation and operations as an integrated service.
The partnership addresses the challenge of promoting sustainable growth and digitalization among small and midsize companies in regional cities facing population decline and labor shortages. The companies had been exploring ways to collaborate following an event hosted by Asahikawa City. The opening of the Asahikawa Center in October 2026 will serve as an opportunity to promote locally rooted, one-stop support.
Specific initiatives in the Asahikawa and Hokkaido areas include integrated end-to-end support combining upstream management assistance with downstream IT implementation, revitalization of local industries, ecosystem building in collaboration with regional financial institutions and local governments, job creation and IT talent development in regional cities, and rescue support for troubled projects and IT integration (PMI), for a total of five initiatives.
Looking ahead, the companies aim to support the independent growth of regional businesses and create a virtuous cycle in the local economy through the development of digital talent and job creation, centered on the Asahikawa Center and driven by DX promotion and productivity improvements.
