J.PRESS INC., a subsidiary of Onward Holdings, presented its Fall/Winter ’26 collection at New York Fashion Week. The collection is defined by new developments including collaborations with British fabric makers and the first womenswear collection in 50 years.
J.PRESS presented its Fall/Winter ’26 collection at New York Fashion Week. The latest designs by Creative Director Jack Carlson foreground American-style tailoring and the distinctive qualities of British fabrics. The runway show took place as the brand approaches its 125th anniversary and marked the season of Carlson’s first anniversary as creative director.
The brand takes pride in its long-standing partnerships with fabric makers, offering shaggy-dog sweaters made on Scotland’s Shetland Islands, British-made ties, Aran knits, Cheviots and English flannels. Alongside Scottish cashmeres and Harris Tweeds, the collection underscores J.PRESS’s commitment to continuing the supply of Cheviots and traditional British fabrics.
The collection also introduced collaborations with traditional British manufacturers including Barbour, Gloverall and Lavenham. A Japan-made capsule collection was launched, featuring womenswear items such as Oxford-cloth button-down shirts, shaggy-dog sweaters, Fair Isle knits, blazers and tweed, as well as collaborations with Alex Mill and Steven Stolman.
The womenswear collection marks its first return since the 1960s and aims to strengthen the women’s line while carrying forward the brand’s traditional Ivy League-inspired style. The collection appears intended to contribute not only to the New York market but also to the brand’s international expansion.
