エクサウィザーズ and Exa Enterprise AI held a press briefing, presenting the reality of the divide in AI use based on data from 1,371 companies and 155,000 users and introducing “Buddy Agent,” a new feature that promotes individual adoption and supports knowledge sharing across organizations.
On 6 October 2026, エクサウィザーズ and Exa Enterprise AI held a press briefing at Shinagawa Prince Hotel on new features of the corporate generative AI service “Exabase AI.” The presenter was 大植択真 (Oue Takuma), who analyzed the reality of the divide in AI use based on actual usage logs and introduced Buddy Agent as a new feature to address the issue.
The company’s proprietary data showed that the top 10% of users accounted for half of all messages, indicating a concentration of usage. The briefing explained that the divide was seen regardless of company size or occupation, and that differences arose from two stages: initial use and deeper use. The analysis also showed that the top 1% of users created approximately 20% of custom agents.
The new “Buddy Agent” feature is scheduled to launch at the end of October 2026. An AI character called “Parun” will provide continuous support from selecting the optimal model through generating deliverables. The data showed that translation is an initial use case in which users can readily experience the benefits, and the feature was described as offering a mechanism for suggesting use cases.
If the divide is reduced, internal AI use is expected to increase, with potential spillover effects including cost efficiencies and infrastructure optimization. エクサウィザーズ stated that it plans to address related issues, including workforce redeployment and security, as it moves toward becoming an AI company.
