サイバーステップホールディングス announced that its subsidiary will launch a security assessment service on 1 November for corporate SaaS, cloud services and business systems, verifying attack paths from an attacker’s perspective. The assessment will be conducted within the scope agreed with the customer, and will report the paths that could lead to unauthorised access to critical information, together with the priority of countermeasures.
The service investigates weaknesses in configurations and access privileges across multiple systems and provides support through the development of remediation plans, implementation of countermeasures and reassessment after the countermeasures have been implemented. The assessment results are intended to identify which paths could lead to unauthorised access and present prioritised countermeasures.
The view has been expressed that the impact on the share price will be limited. It remains unclear whether the announcement itself will have a significant effect on share-price movements in the short term.
