Takamiya will hold its demonstration-focused event “TAP EXPO 2026” at TAP in Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture, from 29 to 31 October. The event will provide an opportunity to experience technologies such as AI and robotics on a farm, with a focus extending from the field to the table.
“TAP EXPO 2026” is a comprehensive agriculture event to be held at TAKAMIYA AGRIBUSINESS PARK (TAP), operated by Takamiya. Its purpose is to co-create the future agricultural market, and it will serve as a venue for demonstrating technologies that address challenges in the field and contribute to their resolution. The theme is “From the field to the table.” On an approximately 3-hectare working farm, companies, research institutions and local governments will bring together their technologies and expertise.
During the event, companies, local governments and research institutions will hold sessions, alongside exhibitions and demonstrations of advanced technologies such as AI and robotics, farm tours and other activities. Visitors will be able to experience how these technologies are used in the field and see specific approaches to resolving challenges.
The event will provide opportunities not only for people involved in agriculture but also for companies seeking to enter other industries, including opportunities to understand on-site needs, enter the market, collaborate and pursue business matching. TAP, which is normally not open to the public, will be made available for a limited time during the event, showcasing an advanced agricultural operation.
Takamiya develops and introduces products and services to improve productivity in response to challenges such as labour shortages and delays in digitalisation in the construction sector. It is also deploying a similar platform in agriculture and advancing verification in collaboration with companies, local governments, universities and research institutions.
