SONY GROUP CORPORATION will launch a global incubation program on 29 October 2026 to create new entertainment experiences using on-chain technology. The initiative seeks to build new relationships between creators and fans around the world.
SONY GROUP CORPORATION will launch the global incubation program “Sony Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program” for startups and creators, with the aim of advancing “on-chain entertainment” using blockchain technology. The program is intended for projects seeking to create experiential value through new combinations of content and digital assets.
Selected projects will receive broad-ranging support for commercialization, including access to Soneium’s technology infrastructure, co-creation opportunities with SONY GROUP CORPORATION, business development support, marketing support, community partnerships and fundraising opportunities. This will support the creation of services that deliver value to actual users, in addition to validating the technology.
The program is called “Sony Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program,” and the responsible legal entity is SONY GROUP CORPORATION. Applications are expected to run from 29 October 2026 to the end of December, with screening expected to take place from November 2026 to March 2027. The main eligible fields are entertainment-related startups and projects developing on-chain products.
