To expand in the North American market, Kameda Seika is restructuring its business after making THF a wholly owned subsidiary. It is developing new products that combine Japanese technology and know-how with its gluten-free cracker brand “CRUNCHMASTER,” and has announced a medium- to long-term strategy through fiscal 2030.
Kameda Seika has identified expansion in the North American market as a growth area and indicated that it will accelerate globalization on the foundation of its domestic business. In June 2025, it acquired all shares of TH FOODS, INC., making it a wholly owned subsidiary, and is restructuring its North American business.
The company has set out a plan centered on THF’s flagship gluten-free cracker “CRUNCHMASTER,” with the development of new products combining Japanese technology and know-how as the second pillar, and announced its “Medium- to Long-Term Strategy 2030 update” through fiscal 2030.
President Takagi Masaki (髙木政紀) emphasized the framework under which THF can achieve long-term growth and indicated a policy of making maximum use of the expanding gluten-free market and technological collaboration. Regarding the current state of the North American market, the company described the rollout and market coverage of brands including CRUNCHMASTER, and stated that it will continue introducing additional products and optimizing its business structure.
Under the initiative, the company set a growth target of reaching US$500 million in sales in the first half of 2030 and indicated a policy of pursuing both continuous and non-continuous growth.
