TEAC announced the AV-P5015N, a professional power distributor/sequencer with network-based power monitoring, control and scheduled operation. The product is planned for rollout in the domestic and North American markets, with a pre-tax price of ¥170,000 and release scheduled for late November 2026.
TEAC will launch the AV-P5015N, a network-controlled and monitored power distributor/sequencer under its TASCAM brand, in the domestic and North American markets. The product allows each outlet to be monitored and controlled through a web UI and supports automatic restart following power outages.
The unit supports up to 15A and features eight 3P outlets. For remote monitoring, it can be combined with the separately sold EA1240 temperature and humidity sensor, enabling abnormalities to be detected through threshold monitoring. Its sequencing function allows equipment to be powered on and off in the appropriate order, helping to prevent a concentration of inrush current.
The scheduler function automates daily, weekly and monthly restarts and on/off operations, synchronising the time with an NTP server for execution at precise times.
The AV-P5015N is the first AV-P series product to be introduced in the North American market. It will be sold through equipment dealers nationwide and TEAC Store. The AV-P5015N will be priced at ¥170,000 excluding tax and ¥187,000 including tax, with release scheduled for late November 2026. The optional EA1240 temperature and humidity sensor is also scheduled to become available around the same time.
