P2C, PIALA INC.’s consolidated subsidiary, will begin the phased rollout of the designated quasi-drug “良朝丸” at 1,855 マツキヨココカラ stores nationwide. The rollout will begin on 8 October 2026, strengthening the brick-and-mortar distribution of a product previously focused on e-commerce.
P2C, a consolidated subsidiary of PIALA INC., announced that it will begin the phased rollout of the designated quasi-drug “良朝丸,” supervised by culinary researcher Ryuji (リュウジ), at 1,855 マツキヨココカラ&カンパニー stores nationwide from 8 October 2026. This will establish a supply network for the product through one of Japan’s largest drugstore chains in addition to e-commerce. The move is intended to address demand for drinking occasions during year-end parties and the year-end and New Year period.
“良朝丸” contains the maximum amount of ursodeoxycholic acid, 60 mg, an ingredient that supports liver function, as well as turmeric powder and herbal ingredients. It is positioned as suitable for preventing hangovers and relieving stomach discomfort. The in-store packs will be 45 tablets for 15 doses and 135 tablets for 45 doses, priced at ¥1,490 and ¥3,980, respectively, including tax.
The nationwide rollout is being pursued against the backdrop of an OMO (online-to-offline integration) strategy and is positioned as an example of expanding brands that have gained support digitally into physical stores. The supply system is in place, and stable supply at stores nationwide is expected.
