NTT SmartConnect announced that it had received the Innovation Partner of the Year award at Broadcom's VCSP Awards, becoming the first Japanese company to do so. Its track record of using VMware Cloud Foundation in the SmartConnect Cloud Platform cloud service was highly evaluated.
NTT SmartConnect Corporation announced that it had received the 2025 VCSP Innovation Partner of the Year award at Broadcom's Broadcom 2025 VMware Cloud Service Provider Partner Awards. The company is highlighted as the only Japanese company to receive the award. The award is reportedly the result of the evaluation of the SmartConnect Cloud Platform (SCP) cloud service's track record of extensively using VMware products to support customers' businesses.
As part of its initiatives for fiscal 2025, the company provides the Japanese-developed IaaS SmartConnect Cloud Platform and explains that it plans to launch VMware Cloud Foundation as a Service on Type-V from June. This will be an industry-leading offering in Japan. In addition, the Type-S cloud migration menu is scheduled to launch in December.
The company is also scheduled to establish itself as a Broadcom Sovereign Cloud Partner in January 2026, while the micro-segmentation menu is targeted for launch in March 2026. These initiatives were described in detail in a news release and the company's official announcements.
A digital badge for the award has been published, and the company has indicated its intention to continue providing high-performance, stable cloud services.
