中本パックス significantly upgraded its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2027, raising its projections for revenue and operating profit. It also increased its interim and year-end dividend plans, bringing the annual dividend to ¥82.
In the new forecast announced after the market close on the 14th, the operating profit forecast was raised from ¥3.265 billion to ¥3.874 billion. This represents a projected year-on-year increase of approximately 30.8%.
The revenue forecast was raised from ¥52.0 billion to ¥55.0 billion, driven by the passing on of raw material costs, increased sales of top-seal products, orders brought forward amid supply concerns, and expanding demand in the semiconductor and electronic components markets.
The company announced that both the interim and year-end dividends would be set at ¥41, an increase of ¥4 from the previous forecasts, bringing the annual dividend to ¥82, compared with ¥71 for the previous fiscal year.
Following the announcement, 中本パックス rose sharply and renewed its year-to-date high.
