極東開発工業 announced that it will exhibit at the 23rd “Big Gathering of Working Vehicles!” event, to be held on 24 and 25 October at Tojoko Toy Kingdom in Kato, Hyogo Prefecture. The main exhibit will be its “beam-type scale packer,” a refuse collection vehicle equipped with weighing functionality, and the company will provide visitors with an opportunity to see and experience the vehicle.
The exhibit vehicle is fitted with a Press Pack body, a compactor-type refuse collection body, and equipped with a weighing device that can measure loads on site. Visitors will be able to sit in the driver's seat and operate the rear switches, among other activities. The event is intended to help children understand the role of refuse collection vehicles.
In line with the event's theme, “Big Gathering of Working Vehicles!”, the event will provide an opportunity to learn about refuse collection work in society through hands-on experience with an actual vehicle.
