Kawasaki has unveiled four 2027 Ninja models in Europe. The four models are the ZX-4R, ZX-4RR, ZX-6R and Ninja 500, with power output regulations and color lineups differing between the European- and Japanese-market versions.
Four European-spec 2027 Ninja models have been announced: the Ninja ZX-4R, Ninja ZX-4RR, Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja 500. Output specifications for A2-licence compliance have been disclosed for all four models, and the color lineup differs by model. In Japan, the 2027 ZX-4RR and ZX-4R SE are already on sale, but their color lineup differs from that of the European models.
The Ninja 500 is the only two-cylinder model, powered by a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. Maximum output is 33.4kW, making it compliant with Europe’s A2 licence requirements. The higher-specification SE comes with exclusive graphics and a full-color TFT instrument panel. As shown by the Ninja 500, additional colors are offered for the SE version.
The 439cc-class ZX-4R and ZX-4RR produce a maximum output of 57kW (77PS). In Europe, 35kW versions are also available for A2-licence holders. The intake ports and port outlets share the same design as those on the ZX-10R, and forged camshafts are used. The ZX-4RR is equipped with preload adjustment on the front and rear forks, a BFRC lite rear shock and a bidirectional quick shifter.
The Japanese- and European-market versions differ, including in their color lineups. A color lineup different from that of the ZX-4RR and ZX-4R SE already introduced in Japan has been unveiled.
