Searches related to flooded cars surged after reports of damage in Shizuoka Prefecture caused by heavy rain in September 2025, with interest in “car flooded insurance” increasing by approximately 83% month on month. A similar trend was seen during the torrential rain in Chiba Prefecture in August 2026.
