DJI launched the DJI Dock 4 drone dock. It reduces the 30-minute charging time required under the previous operating model to 25 seconds through automatic battery replacement.
DJI launched the DJI Dock 4 drone dock on 14 October 2026. Dock 4 automatically replaces a drone's battery, aiming to significantly reduce the time required to redeploy between flights.
The new enterprise drone DJI Matrice 5TD is equipped with a wide-angle camera, infrared camera, millimeter-wave radar and LiDAR, and can use AI to detect 17 types of objects in real time. Combined with the DJI O4 ground station, it is expected to enable deployment from high elevations and stable communications.
The Matrice 5TD has a maximum speed of 21 m/s, while its dedicated video transmission topology limits latency from the drone to the cloud to a maximum of 160 ms. Low-latency live video transmission and high-speed data transfer support situational awareness.
Dock 4 supports operating temperatures from -40°C to 50°C. It preheats the battery in cold conditions and activates its climate-control function in high temperatures. The Matrice 5TD is designed for operation in wind speeds of up to 12 m/s and can be fitted with accessories such as warning lights.
