FedEx Dataworks and Stripe have announced a long-term collaboration aimed at expanding small-business access to funding and global commerce. The initial joint offering is expected in early 2027 and will expand payment options by integrating Stripe into the FedEx checkout.
FedEx Dataworks and Stripe have announced a long-term strategic partnership combining FedEx’s logistics signals with Stripe’s financial infrastructure. The first joint offering is scheduled to launch in early 2027 and aims to reduce friction in global commerce.
The companies aim to expand access to funding for several hundred thousand small and medium-sized businesses. FedEx will add Stripe as a payment processing option and integrate more than 50 additional payment methods into the FedEx checkout.
To improve on traditional lending methods, which have tended to rely heavily on bank statements and credit scores, the companies will use FedEx Dataworks’ supply chain intelligence to support lending analysis and funding through Stripe Capital.
An executive at FedEx and a co-founder of Stripe each emphasized the broad scale of the global economy and the importance of creating future innovation through the collaboration.
The collaboration is positioned as the first step in a strategic, long-term relationship between FedEx Dataworks and Stripe, with the aim of creating new solutions in both logistics and finance.
