A case study of Toridoll Holdings, a major food service company, which introduced the AI sourcing service RecUp and nearly doubled the number of accepted offers. The company reduced the workload involved in sourcing, reviewed its recruitment process, and strengthened store visits and pre-interview meetings.
Toridoll Holdings, a major food service company, introduced the AI sourcing service RecUp, reduced the workload involved in sourcing, and redesigned its recruitment process. Before implementation, its graduate recruitment team consisted of 5 people, with those responsible for sourcing spending 1–2 hours a day writing and sending messages.
The decisive factors in adopting the service were the ability to combine high-quality, individually customised messages with a sufficient volume of outreach, while also improving the speed of responding to enquiries and making proposals. RecUp substantially reduced the time required to send sourcing messages, allowing the resulting surplus time to be devoted to direct engagement with students.
Following implementation, the number of accepted offers through major media channels increased from 4 people in the previous year to 9, while the figure for other media channels changed from 1 person to 4. In total, the number increased from 7 people in the previous year to 13, nearly doubling. Collaboration also improved the efficiency of building the candidate pool, allowing the use of other recruitment agency services to be kept to a minimum.
As an improvement to the recruitment process, store visits and pre-interview meetings were added before offers were made. This reportedly improved the allocation of time for interview preparation and the quality of engagement with students.
