八王子うかい亭 has launched its autumn specially selected beef dinner, with Town readers receiving one complimentary drink per person at both lunch and dinner. The offer runs through 8 November, and the restaurant is serving an elaborate course featuring autumn ingredients.
The upmarket teppanyaki restaurant 八王子うかい亭 in Akatsuki-cho has launched a new menu, the “Seasonal Flavors and うかい亭 Specially Selected Beef Dinner Course.” Centered on premium steak, the course is accented with autumn ingredients, including mushrooms and chestnuts, as well as cultivated maitake mushrooms and European chestnuts, combining Japanese and Western ingredients.
The restaurant’s staff highlighted the fragrance and rich flavors of the ingredients. The chestnut soup and Mont Blanc dessert also use organically grown Japanese chestnuts from a contracted farm, allowing diners to appreciate the differences between the ingredients. The building’s architecture and Taisho-modern interior are also presented as part of the experience.
When making a reservation or ordering at the restaurant, guests who mention that they saw this in Town can receive one complimentary glass of sparkling wine or one soft drink per person, for parties of up to 5, at lunch or dinner. The offer is available through Sunday, 8 November.
The restaurant is located at 2-14-6 Akatsuki-cho, and its telephone number is 042-626-1166. Alongside information about its autumn dinner, 八王子うかい亭 is offering readers a special benefit intended to encourage visits.
