Carbon EX announced that it will conduct the SBTi and Net-Zero Management Survey 2026 as an online questionnaire. The survey will run from 16 September to 16 October 2026, and participating companies are expected to receive a summary of the survey results.
Against the backdrop of the publication of SBTi's new standards, Carbon EX株式会社 is launching the SBTi and Net-Zero Management Survey 2026 to assess the state of corporate decarbonization management and create a benchmark for net-zero strategies. The survey will be conducted online.
The survey is intended for personnel and managers involved in decarbonization and net-zero strategies, including those in corporate planning, finance and accounting, and sustainability departments at companies and organizations in Japan. Respondents do not need to have SBTi validation or have adopted CDR or ICP.
The survey will run from Wednesday, 16 September to Friday, 16 October 2026. Responses will not be limited to 1 per company or legal entity, and responses from multiple departments are expected. Participating companies are expected to receive a summary of the survey results around November.
The survey is expected to visualize the status of companies' responses to SBTi V2.0, investment decisions using ICP, and their understanding of and future policies regarding OER and CDR. The results are scheduled to be made public as reference information for companies considering their net-zero strategies.
