Pacific Meta and OpenZeppelin have entered into a strategic partnership. The companies will create an environment in which Japanese companies can access global-standard blockchain security services, including audit support and assistance in evaluating implementation.
Pacific Meta and blockchain security company OpenZeppelin announced on 26 August that they had entered into a strategic partnership. The partnership aims to provide global-standard security support so that Japanese companies can use blockchain securely in the financial and enterprise sectors.
The support will include a point of contact for smart contract audits and security reviews, assistance in evaluating implementation, including requirements and procurement-process compliance, and support in defining technical requirements for proof-of-concept (PoC) projects and production deployment. It will also cover support for developing security frameworks for on-chain finance, digital assets and blockchain infrastructure, as well as introducing solutions to domestic customers and supporting coordination with them.
Pacific Meta will support companies in the Japanese market in making use of a range of security solutions, including architecture reviews during the design phase, threat modeling, pre-launch security reviews, and post-launch operational support and monitoring. OpenZeppelin will support implementation for the Japanese market.
Pacific Meta also announced that OpenZeppelin had joined its partner program, Global Blockchain Partner Solutions, as a partner in the security and audit field. The program was launched on 19 May to support Japanese companies with the implementation and deployment of blockchain-related products from overseas.
Pacific Meta is a Japan-based company. On 13 July, it announced an initiative to work with its group company Kirifuda and Elliptic to roll out Elliptic's blockchain analytics platform in the Japanese market.
