Dexerials will receive DBJ Future Value Co-Creation Financing from the Development Bank of Japan, Inc., and use the ¥3 billion loan to fund construction of a new plant in Kanuma, Tochigi Prefecture. The company is one of the first borrowers under the financing program, which focuses on sustainability.
Electronic components manufacturer Dexerials has raised ¥3 billion through DBJ Future Value Co-Creation Financing, a new product offered by the Development Bank of Japan, Inc. The loan was provided to fund construction of a new plant, which is scheduled to open in September in Kanuma, Tochigi Prefecture.
DBJ Future Value Co-Creation Financing provides funding based on companies' sustainability strategies. Five companies, including Dexerials, were selected as borrowers in the program's first transaction. DBJ has stated that it will support initiatives including environmental stewardship and human resource development.
After disbursing the loans, DBJ will continue its dialogue with the companies and support the development of technology and human resources strategies that anticipate changes in society. Dexerials is expected to expand ACF production by strengthening its production capacity at the new plant.
