Global Link Management is developing an existing-property redevelopment business as a new business, reportedly launched around 2023. To date, it has acquired a total of 21 buildings, primarily offices, along with hotels and residences.
The target areas for offices include Tokyo’s central five wards and surrounding areas, as well as regional metropolitan areas such as Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture, Osaka and Nagoya. The properties must meet the new earthquake-resistance standards and have a total floor area of at least 200 tsubo, be within a 10-minute walk of a station and be reinforced-concrete structures equipped with elevators.
