JustSystems and Strike Group ranked near the top of a ranking that estimates annual income at age 50 using the latest data. Both companies capitalize on exclusive markets and show high salary levels in specialized fields, including support for government agencies and the education sector, as well as support for mid-sized companies.
When ranking listed companies by estimated annual income at age 50, Money Post WEB used the latest securities reports and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s Basic Survey on Wage Structure, combining each company’s average annual income and average age to produce its estimates. Among the top 100 companies, the figures were ¥19.949 million for JustSystems and ¥19.863 million for Strike Group.
JustSystems has an average age of 38.8 years and average annual income of ¥16.5 million, while Strike Group has an average age of 33.2 years and average annual income of ¥15.21 million. Expert Morioka Hideki (森岡 英樹) identified the companies’ specialized niche markets as a source of strength shared by both.
JustSystems is strong in the government and education sectors. Its background as the creator of the Ichitaro word-processing software is seen as a factor behind its near-monopoly market position. Strike Group also handles mergers and acquisitions and business revitalization for mid-sized and small companies, with the expertise of its founder, Arai Kunihiko (荒井 邦彦), a certified public accountant and tax accountant, viewed as a key strength.
The article also names M&A Capital Partners and other companies that ranked highly in the same field, citing market distinctiveness and a high degree of specialization as common factors behind these companies’ high estimated annual income at age 50.
