eSOL announced that it has joined the SDx Platform Committee launched by the Japan Embedded Systems Technology Association (JASA) as a core member, and that Masaki Gondo (権藤 正樹) has been appointed chair. The company will lead the establishment and validation of a common architecture for next-generation SDx, including software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
Masaki Gondo (権藤 正樹) will serve as committee chair and, in cooperation with participating companies including vehicle manufacturers, will advance efforts to resolve the technical issues required to achieve software-defined systems. By providing full-stack engineering centered on its RTOS, eSOL will support the integration of development platforms and development processes.
At the Automotive Software Expo Day at EdgeTech+ 2026, held from 18 to 20 November, Masaki Gondo (権藤 正樹) is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech and introduce the SDx Platform Committee's action plan. Related technologies and solutions will be exhibited at the eSOL booth, which is expected to be the company's largest-ever exhibition.
The company is promoting the establishment and validation of a common software platform aimed at achieving end-to-end DevOps, and will lead the validation of an architecture that works with development methods such as model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and virtual ECUs.
