Nissan unveiled the 2027 Pathfinder in North America. A special edition incorporating tributes to the first generation will also be offered, featuring numerous design elements celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Nissan North America officially unveiled the new 2027 Pathfinder on 19 October. The model marks the 40th anniversary of the first-generation vehicle's debut, and a special edition will also be introduced. Sales are scheduled to begin at US dealerships in November 2026.
The exterior features a modern interpretation of the first-generation design. The special edition combines a white body with a black roof and roof rails in a two-tone finish, and is fitted with 20-inch alloy wheels. Burgundy accents around the grille serve as heritage-design details.
The interior also pays homage to the first generation, with burgundy-and-black two-tone leather. The passenger-side dashboard pad features an embossed "SE EST. 1986" logo, while the door trim and floor-mat piping are finished in the same colour. Standard equipment includes a panoramic moonroof, second-row captain's chairs, Bose audio and Nissan Safety Shield 360 across the range.
The powertrain consists of a 3.5-litre V6 direct-injection engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission, producing 284 hp and approximately 351 Nm of torque. The MSRP is the equivalent of ¥6,339,674 (US$39,990) for the FWD model, ¥6,783,563 (US$42,790) for the SL FWD, ¥7,512,807 (US$47,390) for the special-edition FWD and ¥7,909,136 (US$49,890) for the Platinum FWD. The 4WD grades will likewise be offered at yen-equivalent prices based on the dollar prices above.
