Yushiro Inc. announced that it will showcase ALFRED, an automatic management system for water-soluble cutting fluids (coolants), at JIMTOF2026 in October 2026. ALFRED visualizes coolant conditions and is designed to reduce the burden of fluid management, which can be difficult to manage manually.
ALFRED measures coolant concentration, pH, temperature and fluid level using sensors and stores the data in internal storage along with replenishment history. It can also connect up to 16 coolant tanks to automatically maintain and replenish concentration and fluid levels. An email alert function enables early detection of anomalies.
The system is expected to contribute not only to reduced staffing through proper management, but also to more stable processing quality, lower consumption of concentrated coolant and longer fluid life. Going forward, the company aims to develop the system into a smart factory platform and realize predictive management and optimization support functions.
