This article recounts the purchase of 4 types from Seria's ¥110 “Mimosa Lavender” plate series, including the buyer's appreciation of the pale lavender floral pattern and retro feel.
I bought new plates from Seria's “Mimosa Lavender” series in Gifu Prefecture. I found 4 types in the store and bought all 4 items: the M plate, M bowl, MS plate and S bowl.
The sticker identifies the series as “Mimosa Lavender,” but the flowers depicted are actually only lavender. The article explains that the mimosa-patterned items were displayed elsewhere. Lavender illustrations adorn the rims, with pale, watercolor-style colors as a defining feature.
The listed sizes are approximately 16.5 cm in diameter and 1.5 cm deep for the M plate, 13.5 cm in diameter and 4.5 cm deep for the M bowl, 13 cm in diameter and 1 cm deep for the MS plate, and 10 cm in diameter and 3 cm deep for the S bowl.
