The lineup now includes 5 colors in total, including the existing colors, and the reduction in work time compared with the previous product has also been reported.

“Fruit Cushion” is a new type of protective packaging that eliminates the need for conventional fruit caps placed over individual pieces of fruit. Fruit can be protected and arranged simply by laying the insert in a container and placing the fruit on top. Verification following its introduction confirmed that work time was reduced.
The average work time when conventional fruit caps were used was approximately 36 seconds, compared with approximately 21.5 seconds for “Fruit Cushion,” which is expected to allow one set to be completed in that time.
Since its launch in January, the company has been developing proposals through trade show participation and sales activities. It plans to expand its proposals in response to demand for color coordination in produce sections and requests for additional colors.
