Internet Initiative Japan Inc. narrowed its decline in afternoon trading and raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. The sales forecast was raised from ¥385.0 billion to ¥428.0 billion, operating income from ¥38.5 billion to ¥39.0 billion, and net income from ¥25.0 billion to ¥25.5 billion.
The new plan was underpinned by strong demand for network and system construction across a range of industries, with several large projects, mainly involving hardware installations, contributing in the first half. As a result, demand for the company’s equipment investment is believed to have remained firm.
For the September interim period, sales were ¥210.303 billion, operating income was ¥16.531 billion, and net income was ¥10.772 billion, representing strong growth year on year. Alongside its full-year outlook for the current fiscal year, the company indicated that earnings were improving.
