First phase of development of the integrated customer data infrastructure for Tsuruha Group and Welcia Group completed | Press release from 株式会社フェズ

FEZ, Inc., which provides retail digital transformation services, announced that it had completed the first phase of integrating Welcia Group's customer data using TIDE-CDP, the customer data platform provided by Tsuruha Holdings. It also stated that, with the completion of the first phase, cross-group 1to1 marketing initiatives using customer data from both groups had begun.

The data centrally managed by TIDE-CDP includes store ID-POS data, data from the Tsuruha Group app, payment data, response data from LINE and coupons, and other third-party data. FEZ aims to visualise customers' purchasing behaviour using TIDE-CDP and develop timely and appropriate 1to1 marketing initiatives.

Through their business integration in December 2025, the Tsuruha Group and Welcia Group formed one of the largest store networks in Japan. With the completion of the first phase of integration, an environment has been established for the cross-group analysis and use of customer data from approximately 5,700 stores, as of the end of June 2026. This is expected to support more sophisticated customer-segment analysis and promotional communications.

This initiative is positioned as one of the key measures in PHASE 1 towards Tsuruha Holdings' realisation of its Life Store concept. Following the integration, promotional initiatives for manufacturers are also scheduled to begin. FEZ will continue to support the operation of TIDE and the advancement of digital transformation and customer experience strategies towards achieving its medium-term plan.

The release is primarily structured around an announcement by FEZ. Strengthened collaboration between Tsuruha Holdings and Welcia Holdings and the expanded use of data are expected to remain areas of focus going forward.
