Zenken held the second Indian Talent Exchange Meeting at its headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo, on 2 September 2026. The event brought together Indian workers employed in Japan's nursing care and hospitality sectors, as well as representatives of their host companies and facilities, to deepen connections among peers and further promote improvements to the support environment.
The event was attended by 43 Indian workers, along with representatives of their host companies and facilities. Arun Kumar Pillai, CEO of NSDC, offered words of encouragement to Indian workers in Japan, and the importance of support for their lives and employment at their workplaces was discussed.
On the same day, Zenken President and Representative Director Hayashi Junnosuke (林順之亮) met with NSDC CEO Pillai, and a signing ceremony was held to renew the cooperation agreement. Zenken announced plans to work with NSDC and NSDCI to strengthen comprehensive support, including not only the training and placement of Indian workers but also Japanese-language education and follow-up support for employment and retention.
Going forward, Zenken intends to broaden the range of target industries beyond nursing care, increase the number of workers placed in Japan, and further strengthen the system for accepting Indian workers.
