The GMW series of milk coolers using the low-environmental-impact, non-fluorocarbon refrigerant R1234yf has been launched. An overview, including the launch date, annual unit sales target and standard price, has been disclosed.
The Galilei Group announced that it will launch the GMW series of milk coolers using the low-environmental-impact, non-fluorocarbon refrigerant R1234yf. R1234yf has a low global warming potential and will be introduced as part of the Group's Sustainable Vision to promote the transition to alternative refrigerants.
The GMW series improves energy efficiency through inverter control and is expected to reduce annual power consumption by approximately 28% compared with previous models. It uses a microchannel condenser that reduces the refrigerant charge while maintaining cooling performance from 0 to 10°C.
The launch date is 1 December 2026, and the annual sales target is 1,000 units. The model is the GMW-180RX-RS, with a standard price of ¥2,607,000, external dimensions of W1,800 × D945 × H1,910 mm, and a rated internal volume of 2,011 L.
Target customers include elementary schools, school meal service centers, drugstores, hotels, sports centers and bakery factories.
