A woman from China who lives in Kuji has launched a crowdfunding campaign to introduce Japan's nursing care industry to students in her hometown. The campaign will run from 1 September to 10 October.
Sumatsugi Tomoko (寿松木智子), originally from China and a resident of Kuji, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to introduce the appeal of Japan's nursing care industry and its working environment to students in China. Details of the campaign were presented at a press conference on 31 August.
Around 7 years ago, Sumatsugi Tomoko (寿松木智子) established a company that introduces companies from each country to students in Japan and China, describing herself as a bridge between the two countries. She expressed her intention to deepen exchanges between Kuji and China, making use of her residence in Kuji.
The crowdfunding campaign is scheduled to run from 1 September to 10 October and is positioned as an initiative supporting efforts to communicate the appeal of the nursing care sector and the ways of working within it.
The initiative has been reported as part of regional revitalization efforts aimed at promoting exchanges between students in rural Japan and those overseas.
