Trackhouse announced that its 2027 MotoGP rider line-up will change from Ogura Ai (小椋 藍) to Enea Bastianini. The 2027 line-up is now taking shape.
On 24 August, Trackhouse officially announced that its 2027 MotoGP rider line-up would change from Ogura Ai (小椋 藍) to Enea Bastianini. The contract runs for 2 years, and Bastianini was selected separately from the decision to extend the team's current contract with Fernandez.
At the time of the contract announcement, Bastianini said he was excited about the challenge under the new team structure, including in 2027. He also expressed his willingness to adapt to the new-generation machines and regulations.
The decision was based on Bastianini's career in the Ducati system since making his debut in 2021, as well as Trackhouse's strong performance in the 2026 season. He has experience with Tech3 KTM and contributed to the team's fight for the top positions in 2026.
Team owner Justin Marks praised Enea's experience and character, saying they would be key to bringing the Aprilia machine to the front. He said he looked forward to competing together over the coming years and creating memorable moments.
