SORACOM will launch SoraKame Pro, an outdoor model with built-in LTE communications, as a new addition to its SoraKame cloud camera service. The product is offered at an open price, and inquiries for implementation advice and quotations can be made through the product page.
SoraKame Pro integrates an LTE communications module, camera and dust- and water-resistant housing into a single model. It connects to the cloud once power is supplied, allowing users to begin operation with minimal initial setup. It supports continuous recording and real-time viewing, with remote access from smartphones and PCs.
Its features include 4x zoom, a 123-degree diagonal wide-angle field of view, infrared night vision and dust- and water-resistant performance equivalent to IP65. It continuously records HD (720p) video to the cloud.
The package includes the main unit, a built-in SIM card, a water-resistant AC power adapter and a dedicated mounting bracket. It can be used to visualise operations at construction sites, including progress checks, identifying the causes of accidents and confirming the delivery of materials. AI analysis is also possible when combined with SORACOM Flux.
