On 10 October 2026, ITFOR Inc. and バカン will conduct a demonstration test to visualise roadside congestion in real time around the Tenjin finish area in Fukuoka.
ITFOR Inc. and バカン will jointly conduct a demonstration test to assess congestion around the Tenjin finish area in Fukuoka during the Saga-Fukuoka Stage of “Ganbarou Kumamoto Mynavi Tour de Kyushu 2026.” The test will be conducted from 10:00 to 14:00 on 10 October 2026, with the finish scheduled for around 13:45. The target areas are around the Tenjin finish point and roadside spectator areas, and the target route is the public urban road in central Tenjin.
Congestion will be detected using a combination of AI analysis by IP cameras and visual observation by personnel. The AI analysis will convert the number of people in the footage into 3 congestion levels, while on-site staff will manually enter congestion information using smartphones. The input data will be distributed on a dedicated site on VACAN Maps as blue, yellow and red congestion signals.
