AiHUB and RobotMateHub have launched a collaboration between entertainment and robotics. Going forward, they aim to link learning with outreach and expand opportunities for talent development and creative work in the robotics field. As the first step, the Robot Carnival AI Film Contest is scheduled to open on 29 August.
AiHUB and RobotMateHub announced on 17 August 2026 that they would launch a collaboration as business partners focused primarily on entertainment and robotics. The collaboration is not limited to a specific event and will continue going forward, with the two companies combining their respective strengths to develop initiatives.
The two parties share the view that the talent base involved in robotics needs to be broadened. AiHUB has expanded opportunities for creators to express themselves and showcase their work, while RobotMateHub has expanded opportunities for people to learn and find work in the robotics industry. By connecting these entry points with the industry's capacity to receive and employ talent, the partners aim to create synergies.
The collaboration will extend across multiple areas, rather than being limited to events. RobotMateHub will provide learning opportunities and access to talent, while AiHUB will provide platforms for outreach and public relations, with each party contributing its strengths as the initiatives are developed. Potential activities include promoting AiHUB event appearances and hackathons, as well as sharing information with RobotMateHub members.
The Robot Carnival AI Film Contest has been positioned as the first step. Its name, content and host are the Robot Carnival AI Film Contest and Creators' Wonderland (AiHUB), respectively, and it is scheduled to open on 29 August 2026.
