Razer Japan has announced the new Naga V3 Pro gaming mouse. The company revealed a configuration featuring interchangeable side plates and new functions, supporting a wide range of uses including MMO, MOBA and FPS games.
On 12 August, Razer Japan announced the Razer Naga V3 Pro as a new product from Razer, the lifestyle brand for gamers. The Japan price is ¥29,980, and the mouse is expected to be available through Razer.com, RazerStore and select retailers.
Its key feature is a set of magnetic, interchangeable side plates: a 12-button plate for MMOs, a 6-button plate for MOBAs and battle royale games, and a 2-button plate for FPS games. The 3 plates can be switched without tools in a matter of seconds. Two quick-access buttons for DPI adjustment are positioned beside the left-click button, the ring-finger button has regained its locking mechanism, and up to 5 onboard memory profiles can be saved.
The scroll mechanism uses the Razer HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2. It features a 24-step Standard Tactile mode, a 48-step Precision Tactile mode, a Free-Spin mode for long-distance scrolling, and an automatic Smart-Reel mode, enabling more precise fine-grained control in games.
For internal performance, the mouse features the Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, supporting up to 50,000 DPI, 930 IPS and 90G acceleration. Its main switches are Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4, offering high durability. It also supports HyperSpeed Wireless and includes a USB Type-C connection that enables use while charging.
