ラクスル株式会社 formally announced the appointment of Takaya Masayuki (高家正行) as an outside director. The appointment is intended to strengthen long-term corporate governance and advance the company’s growth strategy.
Takaya served as Representative Director and President of MISUMI Group Inc., where he expanded its parts procurement platform for manufacturers in Japan and overseas, while also broadening the company’s business scope through acquisitions in Japan and the United States. He has served as Representative Director, President and CEO of カインズ since 2019, where he has worked to create customer experiences integrating its stores and digital channels.
At the 2022 acquisition of 東急ハンズ, he also concurrently served as Representative Director and Chairman, leading post-acquisition integration and the company’s return to growth. He is regarded as having extensive knowledge of both finance and management strategy, as well as a track record of enhancing corporate value through M&A.
