Yamada Holdings announced the launch of 3 series of original smart TVs equipped with JVC-brand Fire TV. The YZ20, YS20, and YH20 series will be sold nationwide through physical stores and e-commerce channels, with launch dates varying by series.
As Yamada Denki original products, 3 new models in the JVC brand Fire TV smart TV lineup, the YZ20, YS20 and YH20 series, will go on sale from 24 October 2026. They will be available at Yamada Denki, Best Denki and Matsuya Denki stores nationwide, as well as through Yamada Webcom and the Yamada Denki store on Amazon.co.jp. The YZ20 is scheduled for release in late November.
Developed with technical support from Amazon Fire TV, these products incorporate Fire TV and bring together more than 700,000 items of content in one place. From online videos to television programmes currently being broadcast, content is displayed in a single list, allowing users to intuitively find what they want to watch on screen. The included Alexa-compatible voice remote can be used to search by title, genre and other terms, and can also connect with smart-home devices.
In addition to supporting the Fire TV experience, the products will support the new Fire TV user interface announced by Amazon in April 2026. They are scheduled to provide a new experience, including a redesigned home-screen layout and display format.
The YZ20 series is a high-picture-quality, high-sound-quality model with a mini-LED backlight, the YS20 series is a standard 4K LCD model, and the YH20 series is a Full HD model. The model numbers are JL-65YZ20 for the 65V-size YZ20 and JL-55YZ20 for the 55V-size model, JL-50YS20 for the 50V-size YS20 and JL-43YS20 for the 43V-size model, and JL-40YH20 for the 40V-size YH20 and JL-32YH20 for the 32V-size model.
