Students due to graduate in 2027 are considered an AI-native generation, using AI to prepare entry sheets and practice for interviews. The results of a survey on employment brands among DX companies have been released. While job seekers are closely watching how companies use IT and DX, they also appear to be concerned that AI may take away their jobs.
Students due to graduate in 2027 are regarded as the AI-native generation, and the first generation of job seekers to have used AI since university is paying close attention to companies’ use of IT and AI. Nikkei xTECH covered the results of the third survey of its kind, based on Minshu’s “2027 Graduates: DX Company Employment Brand Survey.”
In the survey, each job seeker nominated 3 companies in each of 5 industries. The results were compiled into a ranking of DX brand perceptions covering manufacturing, finance, infrastructure, real estate and media. The top-ranked companies in each industry were Sony Group, MUFG Bank, SoftBank, Mori Building and Dentsu, respectively.
For students due to graduate in 2027, using AI to prepare entry sheets and practice for interviews has become routine as members of the AI-native generation. At the same time, they are also interested in whether working for a company will improve their own AI-use skills.
As the use of generative AI in business expands, job seekers place increasing importance on companies’ commitment to DX, and companies are being pressed to respond to AI-native students.
