Canon Marketing Japan Inc. will begin airing two new commercials featuring Kaku Kento (賀来賢人) and Matsumoto Wakana (松本若菜), “Video × AI: Eizo” and “Working-Alongside Security,” on 29 September 2026.
The new commercials were produced as sequels introducing the initiatives of the Canon Marketing Japan Inc. group under the tagline “a company that realizes an incredibly exciting future.” Kaku Kento (賀来賢人) plays an impassioned employee, while Matsumoto Wakana (松本若菜) plays a stakeholder. The commercials depict the company working alongside customers through to solving their challenges, centered on solutions combining video and AI and on security solutions.
“Video × AI: Eizo” presents a future in which labor shortages are resolved through an image analysis solution using Vision Edition, conveying its value in an accessible way through a play on the word “eizo.”
“Working-Alongside Security” proposes security support for the challenges faced by mid-sized and small and medium-sized companies, from analysis and diagnosis through operation. In addition to terrestrial television, the commercials will appear in railway advertising, station concourse displays, and in-store digital signage, and will also be distributed on YouTube and as radio commercials.
At the shoot, frequent exchanges between Kaku Kento (賀来賢人) and Matsumoto Wakana (松本若菜) reportedly created both laughter and tension through lines about AI and the direction depicting the company working alongside customers. Interviews with the cast also introduce some of their comments about working together and their involvement with AI.
