クオンタムソリューションズ has entered into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire a latest-generation, high-density GPU computing platform as the first phase of the project. The equipment will be deployed at a data center in Osaka Prefecture, and the total contract value will be USD60,985,056 (approximately ¥9,512 million).
This represents an important milestone toward the full-scale rollout of the company’s AI infrastructure/AI data center business (AIDC). The company plans to address large-scale AI computing demand, including from overseas cloud service providers, with Osaka serving as one of its deployment locations.
With two business models for commercialization in view, the company is considering, first, providing GPU resources to overseas cloud service providers and others, and second, developing an “AI Compute Factory” that supports AI model training, inference and large-scale token generation in an integrated manner.
Going forward, the company will consider additional GPU procurement and the phased expansion of data center locations, while proceeding with appropriate plans based on customer demand and financing conditions.
