A new destination, “BUB RESORT Minakami,” is being developed near Hodaigi Ski Resort in Minakami, Gunma Prefecture, through a collaboration between BUB and Open House Group Co.,Ltd., with a pre-opening scheduled for December 2026.
株式会社BUB has announced plans to jointly develop a new experiential stay destination with Open House Group Co.,Ltd. that makes use of the natural surroundings of Minakami, Gunma Prefecture. The focus of the stay will shift from simply spending the night to enjoying everything the area has to offer, with the new “BUB RESORT Minakami” brand comprising 2 buildings, an accommodation building and a restaurant and activities building.
The site is located near Hodaigi Ski Resort in Minakami, Gunma, approximately 2 hours 30 minutes by car from the Tokyo metropolitan area. The project aims to provide a stay experience that allows guests to connect with nature year-round, not only in winter, and to create a place where families and friends can enjoy nature itself.
Open House Group Co.,Ltd., the project partner, is engaged in the revitalization of a ski resort and a hot spring district in Minakami, Gunma. The 2 companies will draw on their respective assets and expertise to create a new travel destination that makes the most of the area's appeal. Plans have been announced to enhance the value of the land and facilities through the power of experiences and operations.
The pre-opening is scheduled for December 2026, followed by a transition to a grand opening with all rooms available after the initial opening of some rooms. Details including the number of rooms, rates and reservation opening date are expected to be announced at a later date.
