OPTiM has launched “OPTiM Information Leakage and Cybersecurity Countermeasures Navi,” a new media platform specialising in information-leakage prevention, providing companies with information ranging from basic knowledge of threats and countermeasure technologies to operational guidance. The platform was launched on 23 October 2026, and OPTiM plans to continue publishing information.
OPTiM has launched “OPTiM Information Leakage and Cybersecurity Countermeasures Navi,” a specialist media platform providing corporate information systems departments and security personnel with basic knowledge and practical expertise on information-leakage and cybersecurity countermeasures. It covers ransomware, unauthorised access and software vulnerabilities as threats, with the aim of providing information that enables companies to understand measures suited to their own circumstances. OPTiM plans to continue providing information and supporting companies’ security measures.
The platform is also scheduled to cover a broad range of countermeasure technologies, including MDM, UEM, EDR, MDR, UTM, identity management and SaaS management, covering everything from understanding the need for countermeasures and comparing products to post-implementation operations. Against the backdrop of growing use of cloud services and device management, OPTiM indicates that it is important to consider security measures across these areas.
As background, OPTiM points to the expansion of cloud services and device use in corporate operations and the diversification of information-leakage risks, while highlighting the challenge of carrying out IT operations and security measures with limited personnel. OPTiM has indicated that it will advance information provision supporting corporate decision-making, including by linking it to support for obtaining SCS certification and IPA demonstration projects. Going forward, it aims to enhance content that encourages understanding of information-leakage risks and the consideration and implementation of countermeasures, drawing on its expertise in MDM and PC management.
The launch of OPTiM’s new specialist media platform is positioned as an initiative that will contribute to strengthening corporate security measures, and is expected to provide readers with the latest information on threats and countermeasures. Future expansion is expected to include practical content reflecting changes in threats and evaluation systems.
